Lake Street Pedestrian Mall

The revitalization of Lake Street, in Arnolds Park, into a pedestrian mall started with removing the existing street and installing/reworking the infrastructure below to accommodate the new design. A concrete base with paver overlay was installed to form the street and turnaround and create the ped mall feel. Concrete sidewalks with built in flower beds and bench seating along with large planters line the street. Street lights with flower baskets and as well as festoon lighting strung across the street illuminate the ped mall at night. Harmony Park was updated with a colorful synthetic paly surface along with planting beds, festoon lighting, paver pathways, and tables with integrated seating. A paver patio was also created with tables/chairs for creating a viewing area or simply having a cup of coffee. *Photography provided by Blink Marketing
